Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Linux/Windows Server environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Lead enterprise-level infrastructure projects including virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proactively monitor and optimize network performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery plans and ensure 99.99% system uptime across hybrid cloud platforms
- Manage identity/access systems (Active Directory, Okta) and implement robust cybersecurity protocols
- Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong background in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Proven track record of automating infrastructure with configuration management tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience in root-cause analysis and incident response
- Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
