Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtualization environments (VMware)
- Implement and manage cloud solutions including AWS/Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Provide Level 3 support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud platforms
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Proven ability to document processes and create technical documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
