Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows/Linux server environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy across 500+ endpoints
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including VPC setup, IAM policies, and cost optimization
- Lead security initiatives: firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability patching, and compliance audits
- Provide tier-3 support for critical systems and mentor junior IT staff
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools (Ansible)
- Document SOPs, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- AWS/Azure certifications (AWS SysOps/Azure Administrator preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience managing 24/7 mission-critical environments
