Responsibilities
- Manage AWS/GCP hybrid infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Kubernetes clusters
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor system health with Datadog/Grafana; resolve incidents within SLA thresholds
- Design disaster recovery plans with 99.99% uptime requirements
- Automate patch management and security compliance for 200+ Linux/Windows servers
- Collaborate with DevOps on container orchestration and microservices scaling
- Lead capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years Linux/Windows system administration in enterprise environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Proficiency with scripting (Python/Bash) and configuration management
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and security protocols
- Certifications (AWS SysOps, CCNA, or CompTIA Server+) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix)
- Ability to work under pressure during critical outages
