Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven efficiency
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks across multi-site environments
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and AWS/Azure environments
- Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and patch management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and enterprise switching protocols
- Proficient with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration skills
- Experience with Wi-Fi 6 deployments and network security frameworks
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with systematic diagnostic methodologies
