Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using provided SIEM tools and correlate data across network endpoints
- Investigate security incidents using forensic software and conduct root cause analysis
- Implement and maintain security controls using our supplied vulnerability scanners and patch management systems
- Generate actionable threat intelligence reports using our dedicated intelligence platforms
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities using provided penetration testing tools
- Develop security documentation and incident response procedures
- Stay current on emerging threats using our curated threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in threat intelligence frameworks and malware analysis tools
- Experience with network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS) using provided equipment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
- Excellent communication skills for reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
