Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 24/7 security monitoring and incident response operations.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of internal and external networks.
- Implement and maintain advanced security controls, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure software architectures.
- Conduct security awareness training and threat modeling for the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
- Willingness to work on-site in Charlotte, NC.
