Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Enforce compliance standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Document security incidents, findings, and remediation strategies.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools (Nessus, Wireshark, Burp Suite).
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
