Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems for equity options trading and analytics.
- Collaborate with quants and traders to translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing codebases to improve latency and ensure system reliability during high-volume trading sessions.
- Implement robust testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and deployment efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in architectural discussions to define the technology roadmap for our trading platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on Fintech or High-Frequency Trading.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks for front-end development.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with equity options, derivatives, or financial market data APIs is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
