Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and detect security incidents in real-time during weekend shifts
- Conduct forensic investigations and coordinate incident response activities
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing protocols
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive technologies
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
