Role Overview:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will act as the guardian of our network, working closely with IT and development teams to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate threats before they materialize.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
- Conduct thorough threat hunting and incident response investigations.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead security awareness training and workshops for staff.
- Monitor security dashboards for anomalies and coordinate timely remediation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Strong experience with security tools like Splunk, Palo Alto, and FireEye.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
