Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Proactively monitor system performance and resolve critical incidents within SLA timelines
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime objectives
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform for scalability
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, VMware, and AWS/Azure services
- Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or AWS Certified SysOps Admin preferred
- Proven experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and load balancing
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis methodology
