- Threat Analysis: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security protocols.
- Compliance: Ensure all security measures adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Document security incidents, prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, and recommend remediation strategies.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or similar is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm) and knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
- Location: Must be willing to work remotely from Columbus, OH or Virginia.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
