Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server and Linux).
- Configure, patch, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing to safeguard business data.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and Group Policy objects.
- Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot connectivity issues and network hardware.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory and identity management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or VirtualBox).
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
