Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement security protocols
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell/Ansible and containerization technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and disaster recovery planning
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with industry standards
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, firewalls, and security best practices
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, Linux+, CCNA) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
