Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructures
- Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot critical issues, and optimize performance using automation tools
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations with zero tolerance for downtime
- Execute patch management, security hardening, and compliance auditing (SOX/HIPAA)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Ansible)
- Document procedures, create runbooks, and conduct disaster recovery drills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, load balancers)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure) with IaaS/PaaS implementation
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset
