Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers, network hardware, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive data, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and efficiency.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain shell scripts (Bash/PowerShell) and automation tools to streamline routine administrative tasks.
- Backup & Recovery: Design and execute robust data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime during critical incidents.
- Documentation: Create and update comprehensive technical documentation for troubleshooting guides and system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer in a corporate environment.
- Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
