Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes using scripting languages.
- Ensure high availability and execute disaster recovery procedures effectively.
- Provide tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for internal stakeholders and external clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience (5+ years required).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
