We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City. As a Senior System Administrator, you will not only manage critical server environments but also drive technical innovation, mentor junior team members, and implement best practices for data management and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage on-premise server infrastructure and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing and monitoring security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and manage cloud resources on platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal stakeholders.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and audits to maintain compliance and system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and digital solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in managing Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
