Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard company data.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Oversee network architecture, LAN/WAN administration, and VPN management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and document IT infrastructure projects.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS).
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are highly preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, MCSE, RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
