Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Design and implement robust IT security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal users and external clients with minimal downtime.
- Configure and manage Active Directory (AD) and Identity Management systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems and improve overall IT efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT support role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and hardware components.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell preferred) and configuration management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus.
