We are looking for an individual who is ready to start immediately and bring their expertise to our growing infrastructure.
As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our server environments. You will ensure maximum uptime, data security, and system efficiency, supporting our mission-critical business operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and maintain robust network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform system administration tasks such as patching, updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues to minimize system downtime.
- Manage and configure cloud resources, specifically AWS or Azure environments.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Azure/AWS certifications are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
