Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain server health for both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures promptly.
- Security Administration: Implement and enforce security policies, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect company assets.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Cloud Integration: Assist in the management and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
- IT Support: Provide second-tier technical support to internal staff and manage user account permissions within Active Directory.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA preferred.
- Tools: Familiarity with Active Directory, PowerShell, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work occasional on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents during business hours.
