Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of on-premise and cloud-based servers (Windows Server and Linux).
- Network Optimization: Configure, troubleshoot, and manage network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches, ensuring optimal performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to data protection policies.
- Cloud Integration: Manage AWS or Azure environments, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud resources.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- End-User Support: Serve as a Tier 3 technical expert, resolving complex incidents and providing guidance to junior IT staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure support.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is highly desired.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
