Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios to prevent outages
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Collaborate with security teams to harden systems against emerging threats
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for team scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS 8+
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills with Python or PowerShell
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid networking
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
