Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with emphasis on security and scalability
- Implement robust backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery protocols
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/Ansible for operational efficiency
- Monitor system performance using Splunk/Nagios and proactively resolve issues
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services across 50+ servers
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
