Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex server infrastructures including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Execute disaster recovery plans and data backup procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and system integration projects.
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures for knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux.
- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance.
