Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning AWS and on-premise data centers
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture
- Automate system provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell
- Monitor system health with Splunk and Nagios, proactively resolving performance bottlenecks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for team scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+
- Advanced certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
