Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement robust security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Configure, deploy, and optimize network components (routers, firewalls, VPNs)
- Develop automation scripts for routine tasks and system maintenance
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and execute regular backups
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate system configurations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux distributions
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
- Proficient in PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
- Ability to work independently and prioritize critical incidents
