Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, vulnerability scans, and access controls
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents and outages
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Oversee backup/recovery processes and disaster planning
- Document system configurations and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
