Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Proactively troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Handle backup/recovery procedures and disaster planning
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline support
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or Linux+ required
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Ability to work flexible hours for on-call rotations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
