Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments (200+ systems)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud integrations
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM tools
- Proactively troubleshoot network issues and system failures with SLA adherence
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on scalability initiatives
- Manage user access controls and directory services (AD/LDAP)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
