Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects
- Document bugs using JIRA and collaborate with development teams for resolution
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test scenarios based on requirements
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features don't impact existing functionality
- Analyze test results and provide detailed quality reports to stakeholders
- Participate in agile sprint planning and release ceremonies
- Maintain and update test documentation and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of QA testing experience in software development
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (manual, automated, regression)
- Experience with SQL and basic scripting (Python, JavaScript) preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced agile environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
