Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-impact features.
- Implement robust testing protocols and CI/CD pipelines to ensure system reliability.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues during night operations.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support 24/7 system monitoring and incident response during assigned shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with night shift or rotational shift preference.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Eligibility for relocation assistance (must relocate to Portland metro area).
