Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and usability issues
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for new features and product updates
- Perform regression testing to ensure new releases don't compromise existing functionality
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, document, and resolve bugs using JIRA
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing (iOS, Android, Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
- Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide quality-focused feedback
- Generate comprehensive test reports with clear metrics and actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- 1+ years of QA testing experience or relevant internship/training
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience writing and executing test cases based on requirements
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting (Python, JavaScript, or SQL)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting defects and test results
