Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using AWS/GCP and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Optimize system performance through code reviews, testing, and infrastructure monitoring
- Troubleshoot complex production issues during night shift coverage
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
- Lead architecture discussions for new feature implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
