Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools like Splunk and ArcSight.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IPS, and antivirus solutions.
- Investigate security incidents and perform digital forensics when breaches occur.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and client requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure network architecture.
- Document security policies and incident reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, FireEye).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a significant plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
