Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to ensure data integrity.
- Perform system administration tasks for Windows Server and various Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS).
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and hardware upgrades.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Valid certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCSA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
