In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of our on-premise and cloud-based systems, acting as a key partner in our digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor server hardware and software systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and maintain robust network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform routine system backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Collaborate with DevOps to streamline deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or RHCE are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
