Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues with minimal downtime.
- User Support: Provide technical support and training to employees regarding software applications and system usage.
- Backup & Recovery: Manage and test data backup solutions to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.
- System Updates: Perform regular patch management, OS updates, and security audits.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or equivalent IT certifications are highly preferred.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Scripting: Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting for automation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
