Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructures on both Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS, ensuring high availability and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect corporate data.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployments using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex network and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications into the production environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and routing concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred.
