Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Python on AWS infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for weekend team projects
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction financial systems
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Contribute to API security audits and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Participate in agile ceremonies with remote teams across timezones
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices patterns
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
