Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with emphasis on cost optimization
- Oversee network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents and disaster recovery
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for IT operations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows expertise
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Advanced proficiency in virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Terraform
- Proven incident management and DR testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving with analytical approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
