Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions to ensure network integrity.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Perform regular security audits and generate detailed reporting for stakeholders.
- Lead incident response drills and train junior staff on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Clearance to work with sensitive data is a plus.
