Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents via SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Perform threat hunting and proactive security analysis to uncover hidden risks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Investigate breaches, conduct root cause analysis, and document post-incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures.
