Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Administer and configure Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies.
- Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and hardware failures across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and infrastructure scalability.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS).
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSA, or CompTIA Server+.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for system automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
