As a critical member of our IT operations team, you will ensure the availability, performance, and security of our client's network environments. You will bridge the gap between IT operations and development, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server environments, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory environments, user accounts, and group policies to ensure optimal security and access control.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and security logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates, patches, and new infrastructure projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal IT policies, including disaster recovery planning and backup verification.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators on best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration (2012 - 2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
