Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain complex server environments, including Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Cloud Integration: Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS and Azure, ensuring seamless migration and operation of hybrid workloads.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce Zero Trust security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments to safeguard sensitive data.
- Automation: Develop and maintain Python and PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network devices, VPNs, and IP addressing schemes.
- Disaster Recovery: Lead backup and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring business continuity plans are tested and effective.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting critical system outages and hardware failures.
