Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead enterprise-level security implementations including firewalls, intrusion detection, and compliance frameworks
- Automate provisioning and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Optimize performance through capacity planning, load balancing, and SQL database tuning
- Coordinate disaster recovery drills and ensure RTO/RPO compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and document SOPs for complex infrastructure workflows
- Collaborate with network teams to troubleshoot cross-domain issues
Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise system administration with 3+ years in hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, or equivalent
- Deep proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Active Directory, and VMware vSphere
- Advanced scripting skills in Python/PowerShell for automation
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven track record in PCI-DSS and HIPAA compliance
- Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis of complex failures
