Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies for enterprise scalability
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk to proactively resolve issues
- Implement cybersecurity best practices including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Coordinate disaster recovery tests and backup automation for 99.9% uptime SLA
- Lead cloud migrations to Azure/AWS with IaC tools like Terraform
- Mentor junior staff and document SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in VMware ESXi vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Experience with enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper firewalls)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work on-call rotation (1 week/month)
